I have just found this website. I heard that Paul was dead a while ago. We were friends at medical school but saw each other infrequently after that. I remember seeing him for the first time. How strange he looked and his broad Bilston accent fascinated me. We became good friends in the 4th year and moved into a house in Northenden where we lived together for about a year. We went on holiday together to Corsica on his scooter where poverty forced us to share a bed. When Linda my wife who was also very fond of him had our first daughter Paul would often baby sit for us. The last time I saw him was at a restaurant in Bolton a few years before his death. We promised to keep in touch but never did..and then I heard that he was dead.
